Scholarship Application

ELIGIBILITY

Eligible candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Residency: Must currently live in an African country.
  2. Education: Must have completed secondary school or high school in an African country. Must have written and received West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results or University entrance examination.
  3. University Admission: Must have an acceptance letter from a Federal university.

Field of Study:

Eligible majors include:

  • Engineering: Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum
  • Information Technology: Software Development, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering
  • Agriculture and Food Science
  • Healthcare: Medicine, Nursing, Public Health
  • Business and Management
  • Renewable Energy
  • Accounting
  • Finance

Required Documents:

  • University acceptance letter
  • Matriculation number
  • WAEC results and high school transcript
  • References
  • Completed essay questions

APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Application Submission:

Applicant completes the online application form with all required information and uploads supporting documents.


2. Application Review (Within 30 days of submission):

The scholarship committee will review the application materials, including transcripts, essays, and recommendation letters.

Applicants are categorized as either "accepted for interview" or "not selected for further consideration" and will be notified via email.


3. Interview Notification (Within 30 days of submission):

Applicants receive an email notification informing them of their application status.

Accepted applicants receive details about the interview format (e.g., online, phone), date & time options, and interview preparation tips.


4. Interview Stage:

Shortlisted applicants participate in interviews with the scholarship committee.

Interviews assess academic potential, motivation, and alignment with the scholarship goals.


5. Final Decision & Scholarship Offer (Up to 8 weeks):

The scholarship committee reviews interview notes and makes final decisions.

Successful applicants receive an offer email outlining scholarship details, the disbursement process (directly to the university), and acceptance requirements.

Unsuccessful applicants receive a notification email with feedback.
